Confessions of a Shopaholic: Take a Bow

This week's obsession is unexpected but oh so good. I'm normally not a huge fan of H&M jewelry, but recently I stumbled on an amazing find - the oversized bow ring pictured above. Retailing at only $5.95, I had to stop myself from throwing 10 of them onto the register...just for the hell of it...because they're less than six dollars!

I think the bow and excessive diamonds on this are super sweet. And the extra large size makes it look like a double finger ring to me. You guys know I'm obsessed with those. What do you think - too big or just right?

Coats on!

Edited by: Florrie Clarke of Intrinsically Florrie

Change is literally in the air, bringing with it the cold and rain that requires a wardrobe transition. I must confess to being ill prepared myself and as a consequence have been drenched in the freezing cold. Time to get out your boots and coat because fall is well and truly here. I may stick stubbornly to my floral dresses all year round, but the difference is in the layers. So I'm on the look out for fabulous tights and there are a couple of lovely posts to help me choose or even DIY my own style.

Lover Not a Fighter

This season's emphasis on military chic - I'm into it. You won't find me on a real battlefield, but these city streets can definitely be a war zone...

Pictured above is the same military jacket I posted about in my Guide To Thrifting Trends. I scored this sucker for only $5.99. Tip for military jacket thrifting: look for unique detailing...

Military Jacket: Thrifted. Top: Forever 21. Leggings: H&M. Utility Boots: Anne Michelle. Jesus Piece: Forever 21. Silver Cuff: Street Vendor. Turquoise Ring: Street Vendor (posted about HERE). Quilted Bag: Thrifted.

The Sweet Escape

Took some test shots the other day before a shoot and Tia insisted I take them out on the fire escape. From time to time I come out here to think and just breathe.
