If the campaign photos just weren't enough, H&M is hitting you with another injection of Beyonce as Mrs. Carter for their Summer 2013 Collection but this time in the form of a behind-the-scenes video. Only instead of it being documentary-style, it's actually a mini music video of Queen Bey belting out her newest single "Standing on the Sun" while donning H&M swimwear.
If this isn't the coolest brand partnership this YEAR. Not only is Ms. Carter giving life in a high-waisted patterned bikini, beachside. She's also leaking new music. Win-win!

LBS Exclusive [VIDEO]: Braxton Family Values Season 3 Premiere
Check out our exclusive video below:
DJ Kiss, currently our favorite female DJ, didn't let us down one bit. She played all the right tunes as guests sipped on signature cocktails while waiting for The Braxtons and other celebrity guests to arrive.
Tamar who just the day before revealed that she is pregnant, dished on what we all were wondering. What does her pregnancy means for her music?
Everyone from Queen B (Lil Kim) to Angela Simmons and even Basketball Wives star Jennifer Williams were in attendance to support the sisters. Once the Braxtons arrived, we wasted no time hoping to get a taste of their spunky, over the top personalities.
Tamar who just the day before revealed that she is pregnant, dished on what we all were wondering. What does her pregnancy means for her music?
"Let me clear something up. Just because I have a love on top, does not mean my album is not coming out. It’s still coming out this year,” explained Tamar Braxton.
Another bit of juice came from Traci Braxton, who WEtv has confirmed is no longer "the wannabe" but instead the “wildcard.”
She chatted with us about what we will see from her this season and let’s just say, she’s riding two wheelers. She said “You’re gonna see me with my motorcycling club!” Given what we've seen from Traci in the past, she'll have us laughing something serious for sure.
We love the Braxtons because they're so relatable and like any sisters, Towanda says “There are some days we don’t like each other, but we do love each other.”After last night's premiere, it's obvious we’re in for another crazy season.

VIDEO: Motown The Musical Coming To Broadway
So you guys know how much I STAN for the Motown era, right? I'm always down for a throwback moment and my taste in clothing is normally a mix of modern trends and retro 60's or 70's pieces. I'm also a die-hard Diana Ross fan (hence my obsession with her delightful spawn Tracee Ellis Ross).
The entire Motown era fascinates me beyond belief. Movies like Dreamgirls, The Jackson Five and Sparkle? I live for them. For those of you like me, I've got news that will make you dance (like bands)...
Motown The Musical is coming to life in early 2013! They will be kicking off the show on Broadway in NYC staring in March 2013. The show will chart Motown founder Berry Gordy's journey from featherweight boxer to heavyweight music mogul, launching the careers of music greats like Diana Ross, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye and more.
I can only imagine the faboosh retro fashions they're working on for costume production. And that hair will surely be laid. Can't wait!
Grab a sneak peek here:

Anyone else hyped about this? Who's your favorite Motown artist?

Flavor of Friday: Kimberly Sumner
You know when things just...work? And you really have no idea why or how they work out, but you just have to trust that it's fate? That's kind of what happened when I first moved to Harlem and ended up becoming roommates with this lovely lady - Kimberly Sumner.

Though I found her via Craigslist (which we know can be hit or miss), we became fast friends and she was definitely one of my style inspirations for the two months we shared space in uptown NYC. A recent graduate of the Parsons School with a major in Fine Arts, Kim is an artist in every sense of the word. She works passionately and always speaks with conviction. She also has one of the most colorful and perfectly afrocentric closets I've ever seen. I absolutely love her style and I'm not the only one! Kim was recently featured on popular website StyleLikeU. Check out her featured video below...
Though Kim has since moved on to live in artsy Brooklyn, she's obviously still inspiring the masses with her beautiful mane and eccentric closet. You can find Kim at a local BK vintage shop, fabric store, or at an Urban Outfitters where she spends much of her time being uber fab.

Style Candy: Beyonce's "Why Don't You Love Me" Video
I tend to take inspiration from a number of things - street style, red carpet photos, fashion mags and even music videos. I was too hyped when the pics from the set of Alicia Keys' and Beyonce's "Put It in a Love Song" were released. Well, when I ran across Queen Bey's new music video for "Why Don't You Love Me", I died then came back to life. This video is laced with style inspiration from the pin-up housewife attire to the studded turbans and neon stilletos. Just watch...
Notable fashion pieces from the vid: the turban (updated version of the doobie head tie), Betty Boop-esque two-piece suit, neon platforms, vintage lace and veil headpiece, seersucker jumpsuit, bright lips, pastel nails...
Stay tuned for a follow up Style Candy with some of these cool pieces and where you can cop your own!

Sick Site Spotlight: FashionAir.com
If you're really into online fashion videos, be sure to check out this site FashionAir. It's a website completely dedicated to online fashion content and it's quite intriguing, I must say. On your next study break or afternoon coffee break at work, I highly recommend hitting up this site. My favorite show on the site is called 7 Days of Chic.
They ask different women working in the fashion industry to video document their outfits for 7 days. It's interesting seeing the different style choices and all. They also have a Fashion Bites section with current fashion events/news/tidbits. It's really cute.

Check it out sometime - here's the link.
