Kickin' It: Cocktails & Couture Party 2012

 On Saturday night I had the pleasure of attending this season's Cocktails & Couture shindig during NYFW. It's the quintessential blogger meet-up party every season, hosted by beauty blogger extraordinaire Lianne Farbes. This season, the esteemed co-host was big-hitter Patrice Yursik of Afrobella.com (love her!) and the presenting sponsor was BlogHer.com. In true blogger meet-up fashion, there were cocktails, cameras & cute outfits galore. Check it out:

Kickin' It: Indique + Ginger & Liz Launch Glam Survival Kit

Last week I had the pleasure of attending the Indique + Ginger & Liz launch of the Glam Survival Kit at the Townhouse Spa in NYC. Hosted by the lovely Lianne Farbes (one of THE first beauty bloggers to hit the scene and recently tapped for MAC’s Blogger Obsession collection), the event was jam packed with beauty goodies & smiling faces. 

MAC Cosmetics Taps Bloggers for Collection

Word on the street is, a few of my fave bloggers have been tapped by MAC Cosmetics to launch their own capsule beauty collection. Apparently MAC dwindled 80 blogger submissions (of color concepts for both a lipglass and an eyeshadow) down to10 finalists and these ladies were flown to Toronto to tour the MAC facilities and create their own products. How exciting!

 On the evening of February 12th, I attended an epic event combining some of the best and brightest fashion & beauty bloggers all under one roof! The Cocktails and Couture event hosted by beauty blogger Lianne Farbes of MakeupGirl.net was an amazing time. From the fruity drinks with blogger bffs to the networking and "filled-to-the-brim" goodie bags, I had an absolute ball!
