Let me just say how excited I am to see that Lala Vazquez is back in NY and trotting around town. For those of you non-sports buffs (like myself), Lala and new hubby Carmelo Anthony have just moved to NY as Carmelo was recently traded from the Denver Nuggets to the NY Knicks.
Yesterday, Lala was spotted out with her son Kiyan at a book launch in NYC. Cozy Friedman, founder of Madison Avenue salon and celebrity parent hot-spot, Cozy's Cuts for Kids, celebrated the launch of her first book - Cozy's Complete Guide to Girls' Hair and Lala was in the building with her adorable son.

I'm so glad you posted this, I was just about to tweet on it. Hated it!( with the snap) I like Lala and this look disappoints me. The bangs just aren't classy, something about the leather looks plastic, and it's just too much at once for anyone with the hair, necklace and belt.I hope she doesn't stick with this, but her hair would probably look lovely if the bang color were all the way through.

I really like LaLa, shes such a pretty girl, and she has amazing style. Did anyone peep her custom made Knick blue Louboutins?? I die lolz.

I have not been a follower of Lala, but I must say I would have enjoyed to see her in something more laid back, not so over the top. Leather is a bit much for the event. I am not impressed at all with this look.

The bangs? They aren't terrible but maybe having on such a huge statement necklace is setting them off in a negative way. I know it sounds strange but your hair is also an accessory. The bangs are also acting like a bold, statement piece and are too close in proximity to the necklace.
I say foolish.
lala was definitely having an off day she went to a book signing with her kid and she is dressed like a closet dominatrix or something and the two tone bang thing just aint it she really needs to go back to the drawing board for day time looks especially when she is with her kid she looks seriously uncomfortable carrying him!!!
