Ask LBS: What Is NYLean All About?

So if you follow me on Twitter you've probably seen me incessantly tweeting at a man named Rob Brace aka @NYLean25. He's actually the creator of a new fitness program I've taken on for the month of April.
If these abs aren't convincing enough, please read on...
As part of his "Blogger Madness" initiative, I was invited to take part in a 30 day fitness challenge which includes a combination of high intensity cardio-heavy workouts, 3 days a week for 25 minutes per session, as well as a meal plan. Though I didn't post about the program on LBS, I have been tweeting pictures of my progress, and you guys wasted no time gushing with me about my loss!

"Hello Ms. LoveBrownSugar, I love your blog and I also follow you on twitter. I recently saw where you posted a pic and you look FAB :) Im from GA so there is no NYLean 25...but I was wondering could you do a post about the diet that you used to drop those lbs?"
Some of you might be wondering why I waited until April 15th to tell you all about the program. My reasoning is simple - I only post about products & services that I truly love. If I don't like it, or if it doesn't work for me, you won't hear about it here. That said, I wanted to be sure that the program was truly something to write home about before sharing it with you.

After week 1 of NYLean25 class
Guess who's writing home? I am in LOVE with this NYLean25 program. Here's why:

1. It's a time-saver. The whole premise of the NYLean25 program is that you can achieve the same results you get doing hours upon hours in the gym, in a quick high-intensity 25 minute workout. Think of it as a 25 minute bootcamp. Once it's over you feel like you've been working out for hours.

2. The community. I was fortunate enough to be invited into the program with other lovely bloggers who I adore. But aside from working out with great friends, doing a group exercise class helps with overall motivation because it pushes you. When you see others still going, you don't want to give up either!

3. The meal plan. Although I'm absolutely in love with pasta...and cupcakes...the NYLean meal plan has really pushed me to be creative with healthier options. There are two different plans you can choose from making it pretty flexible for your lifestyle but it's basically a combination of low-fat, low-carb meals, with frequent (healthy) snacking in between and lots of water. Once I get details on whether or not I can release the actual meal plan - I promise to post about it.

Overall, the program is going amazingly well for me. Since April 1st, I've lost a total of 6.5 pounds and I feel amazing!

I already own too many so I'm going to try belting them with difference accessories to remix them for this summer.
